About

Teaching the World is a collection of Title VI National Resource Centers (NRCs), which are higher education areas or international studies centers partially funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Through these grants, educational institutions across the United States are able to establish and run various language and area centers that provide national resources to educators and students. As a result, NRCs are mandated to provide outreach to K-14 educators and students through training and programming, which is what we aim to do.

National Resource Centers offer resources available locally and nationally. These include virtual classroom visits, training workshops and seminars, multimedia materials, lesson plans, and more. Explore what region-specific resources we offer, and check out our calendar below for upcoming events near you!
