Globalizing the Curriculum: Enhancing East Asian Studies in Appalachian Community Colleges

Co-sponsored by the East Asian Studies Center at The Ohio State University and the University of Pittsburgh’s Asian Studies Center, we invite you to the “Globalizing the Curriculum: Enhancing East Asian Studies in Appalachian Community Colleges” Conference in Wheeling, West Virginia on May 15-16, 2025. Speakers from community colleges, liberal arts schools, and high schools will present on programming resources, pedagogical practices, and success stories related to incorporating East Asia into the curriculum. A limited number of stipends ($150 for local, $275 for surrounding area, $425 for distant) are available for conference attendees.
