Keynote Address by Sawako Nakayasu

Sawako Nakayasu is an artist who combines language, performance, and translation. Her work focuses on translation and she has been received the PEN Award for Poetry in Translation for her work The Collected Poems of Chika Sagawa. As a part of The American Literary Translators Association (ALTA) annual conference, Ms Nakayasu will give the keynote address.

This event is free and open to the public. No reservations required.

Ms. Nakayasu’s keynote address is sponsored, in part, by the Center for East Asia Studies (CEAS) at the University of Arizona
