Maximizing foreign language output in the classroom: An in-depth, interactive, two-week course
Applications are closed for Summer 2024.
Who
Middle and high school and community college teachers of any foreign language who want to cultivate new skills and ideas for creating a more exciting and interactive classroom environment.
Cost
The seminar is free, but space is limited and applications will be competitive.

All sessions are online.

Benefits
Teachers will receive a $500 stipend for completing the course and a certificate to present for professional development credit
Teachers will identify, reframe, and reproduce six core high-leverage teaching practices (HLTP) for language instruction based on the discussion and analysis of enacting the Work of Language Instruction: High-Leverage Teaching Practices. (The American Council on Teaching of Foreign Languages, 2017), and using LingroToGo and Contrasena as models.
Instruction by University of Florida faculty who specializes in classroom technology and interactive learning spaces.
