DESCRIPTION:Eurasian Environments\nAre you an educator who is interested in deepening your understanding of the history\, culture and current events of Russia and Eurasia? Consider applying for the Engaging Eurasia Teacher Fellowship!\nApplications for the 2025-2026 fellowship year\, which is devoted to the theme Eurasian Environments\, are now open. The application deadline is April 15\, 2025. \nELIGIBILITY AND REQUIREMENTS: \nOpen to both part-time and full-time educators at the high school and community college level\nEducators from throughout the United States are encouraged to apply\nLearn from and chat with experts in Russian and Eurasian studies via monthly program webinars\nBe part of an online learning community with fellow educators\nDevelop curriculum or do additional research on a topic of interest for eventual classroom application\nParticipate in an in-person workshop with scholars and fellows in fall 2025\, hosted by the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies \n2025 Fellowship Details\nThe EETF Fellowship invites K-14 educators to explore the dynamic intersection of environment\, society\, and history through a series of engaging webinars. This fellowship is a collaboration between the Harvard University Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies\, the Center for Slavic\, East European\, and Eurasian Studies at the Ohio State University\, the Center for Russia\, East European\, and Eurasian Studies at the University of Pittsburgh\, and the Center for Russia\, East Europe\, and Central Asia at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It is funded through a Title VI/National Resource Center Grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
