This afternoon workshop for educators from 3:30-5:00pm Eastern Time will explore significant issues of gender, both male and female, in the Southwest Asian and North African regions from religious and social perspectives, with a particular emphasis on youth and adulthood. Join our two Georgetown University speakers: Dr. Sarah Omar (Asst. Professor, Arabic and Islamic Studies) and Dr. Melyssa Haffaf  (Executive Director, Georgetown University Gender+ Justice Initiative).
